In search of just the right home

After Violet arrived at LTBHS, it didn’t take us long to realize this sweet kitten was deaf.  This isn’t uncommon for white cats, but despite their disability, they usually live full, happy lives.  We knew that we’d have to find a special home for Violet, someone who was willing to be patient with her and help act as her ears.

Adopt a Dog

ruby blk lab

Hi, I'm Ruby, a six year old black lab who recently arrived here with my buddy, Jay. We're both looking for forever homes, and luckily for Jay he found his. Now it's my turn. I can be a little scared when I meet someone or when I experience new things, but at heart I'm really just a sweet girl who wants to be loved by a family of my own. Since I'm only used to living with Jay, I'd really like to meet any new canine companions I might be sharing a home with. Cats make me a little nervous, but I imagine I would be ok with them, and I'd probably be better off in a home without children because I don't like to share my toys. I have a lot of love to give, and I hope you'll consider making me a part of your family. See you soon. Love, Ruby.

Adopt a Cat

Charlie orangetabby

The name is Charlie and I was found as a stray and my story is probably one you've heard before, so I won't bore you with the details. I'm only a year old, still a young guy with a dream; and that would be for a forever home. I'm trying to make a few friends during my stay here at LTBHS, so far it's a slow process since I'm the new guy and all. Otherwise I'm very friendly and hope you'll come check me out and give me a chance. I want to believe that dreams come true, maybe you can make that happen for me.
