Staff Biographies

DrADr. Deborah Andreen, DVM

Dr. Andreen has over 20 years’ experience in veterinary medicine with a focus in diagnostic and surgical procedures. She resides in Harbor Springs with her husband, three children, cats Guinness and Clementine and dog, Briar.

Dr applegateDr. Katheryn Applegate, DVM

Dr. Applegate has 40-plus years' experience in veterinary medicine with a focus in dentistry, surgery and general animal medicine. She lives in Charlevoix with her husband and rescue dog, Jade. She and her husband have three grown children and two grandchildren.

Dr DumasDr. Kelly Dumas, DVM

Dr. Dumas resides in Petoskey with her husband, Gary, and children, Heidi and Jack.  She has three furry friends of her own, dog, Seaweed, and two cats, Luna and Ted (both LTBHS rescues).  She enjoys dermatology, animal behavior and preventative medicine. 

Katie Zubricky

Dr. Katie Zubricky, DVM

Dr. Zubricky has special interests in soft tissue surgery, oral health treatments, internal medicine and client education.  Dr. Zubricky is a graduate of Colorado State University and lives in Harbor Springs with her fiancé, Mike, their two dogs and cat.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, reading and crafting.

Julie has over 17 years’ experience working as a veterinary technician. She is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the clinic including surgery, x-ray, laboratory and ultrasound procedures in addition to general patient care. Julie has two dogs of her own, Otto and Sid, and one cat, Zora.

Kassidy Dicus, Veterinary Technician

Kassidy is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the clinic including surgery, x-ray, laboratory and ultrasound procedures in addition to general patient care. Kassidy has two pets of her own, a cat, Ellie, and dog, Ruger.

Amy Hughes

Amy Hughes, Veterinary Technician and Front Desk Administrator

Amy assists with all aspects of the clinic including surgery, x-ray, laboratory and ultrasound procedures in addition to general patient care.  She also helps out at the front desk by greeting and checking in/out clients, in addition to managing appointments and various other duties. She has an adorably-named cat of her own, Lilo Purrito. 

JenJen Juilleret, Clinic Manager

Jen is responsible for the everyday business activities of the practice. She is also responsible for managing the clinic’s front office which includes greeting and checking in/out clients, in addition to managing appointments and various other duties. Jen has over 19 years of experience as a veterinary technician and enjoys spending time with her cat, Punkin, and dog, Finni, when she’s not at the clinic..

Robyn is responsible for managing the clinic’s front office which includes greeting and checking in/out clients, in addition to managing appointments and various other duties. Robyn has two rescue dogs of her own, Remi and Otis, and cat, Winnie.

Chelsea MChelsea Minzey, Veterinary Technician

Chelsea is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the clinic including surgery, x-ray, laboratory and ultrasound procedures in addition to general patient care. Chelsea has one dog of her own, Rio, and also has many farm animals that she cares for at home.

NancyNancy Parker, Front Office Administrator 

Nancy is responsible for managing the clinic’s front office which includes greeting and checking in/out clients, in addition to managing appointments and various other duties. Nancy has two pets of her own, a Great Pyrenees, Dozer, and cat, Bella.

Lisa oversees all aspects of Little Traverse Bay Veterinary Clinic in addition to LTB Boarding and Grooming to ensure that these two sectors of the organization are working to support the mission of the shelter. When not at the clinic, Lisa enjoys cuddling with her own dogs, Mama Mia and Tank..

AllisonAllison Wilhelm, Veterinary Technician

Allison is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the clinic including surgery, x-ray, laboratory, dental exams/cleanings and ultrasound procedures in addition to general patient care.  She has two dogs of her own, Teenie and Fuzz.
