The Little Traverse Bay Humane Society is a great place to volunteer and help us take care of hundreds of animals each year. We have many opportunities for volunteers to get involved! First, come in and meet the staff, fill out some paperwork and get a personal tour of the facility. This way you will be familiar with the shelter and see how busy our days can be. We want you to be comfortable volunteering your time and also feel that you have contributed to the necessary needs of the shelter. The different volunteer options are:
Complete the Volunteer form and bring with you to the Shelter when you visit. Print the pdf Volunteer Form. Must wear knee length shorts or pants-(no short shorts) and tennis shoes--(No flip-flops, sandels, or similar type shoes) Please call the shelter to set up an orientation time or stop in and talk to us, we're sure we can find just what you're looking for to volunteer your time.
