This is Otis, who was adopted in December, 2010, at the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society Open House. Otis was about seven months old when "he chose us" as his fur-ever family. He was originally picked up in Pellston and transferred to LTBHS where he spent a few months. He is truly a joy, always affectionate and amusing. We love him immensely and continue to marvel at the "perfect fit" he has with our household. Thank you LTBHS.

Adopt a Dog
Hi, I'm Ruby, a six year old black lab who recently arrived here with my buddy, Jay. We're both looking for forever homes, and luckily for Jay he found his. Now it's my turn. I can be a little scared when I meet someone or when I experience new things, but at heart I'm really just a sweet girl who wants to be loved by a family of my own. Since I'm only used to living with Jay, I'd really like to meet any new canine companions I might be sharing a home with. Cats make me a little nervous, but I imagine I would be ok with them, and I'd probably be better off in a home without children because I don't like to share my toys. I have a lot of love to give, and I hope you'll consider making me a part of your family. See you soon. Love, Ruby.
Adopt a Cat
The name is Charlie and I was found as a stray and my story is probably one you've heard before, so I won't bore you with the details. I'm only a year old, still a young guy with a dream; and that would be for a forever home. I'm trying to make a few friends during my stay here at LTBHS, so far it's a slow process since I'm the new guy and all. Otherwise I'm very friendly and hope you'll come check me out and give me a chance. I want to believe that dreams come true, maybe you can make that happen for me.
