Great Addition!
carrie_saundersCarrie has been a great additon to my family. With a little patience, I think she'll be a fine dog.  She has taken to her new home very well and her training is coming along great.
Rogan
rogan_resizedThank you so much for the amazing opportunity you gave Rogan and me. The dogs and I have been running everyday now. When we are not running, playing or cuddling, Rogan and I have been working hard learning tricks and manners. He is doing amazingly well! We are so happy, this sweet boy has joined our family.
Beans (formerly known as Colton)

Nearly four years ago, I adopted Beans from Little Traverse Bay Humane Society when he came to you after being found caught in a trap and having his right hind leg amputated.

About a year and a half after I “rescued” him, he returned the act by rescuing me. I just wanted you to know that he is doing well and is a joy to share my days with. Thank you for all that you did for Beans and in turn for me by giving me the opportunity to have such a wonderful pal.

All the best to you and to the great loving work that you do for so many pets in need.

Tag (formerly Jasper)

jasperTag (Jasper - front) is now King of the Hill! He loves farm life and has been an awesome addition to our family! Thanks LTBHS!!!

We LOVE Lincoln!

Lincoln_resizedLincoln (formerly Findley), one of the pups you rescued from the Illinois hoarding situation in 2011, is doing great! He was our Christmas present and will be our Valentine's present and any other present you can come up with!

True Love Is Rescued
It is great that Chadwick has been adopted! Without doubt, all of the dogs you rescued from the hoarding situation would have been put down. Besides saving them, you saved the bigger dogs who would have had to be put down in order to make room for the smaller ones. I will never be able to thank you enough!
Truckee the Terrier

LTBHS Adoption TestimonialJust a quick note to thank you. We love the terrier dog (Truckee) we adopted from you. She is wonderful and is fitting in prefectly with us.

Thanks again!

Fletcher

LTBHS Adoption Testimonial FletcherWe adopted Fletcher (formerly Bruce) in January 2010 from LTBHS. He is the love of my life, a fact my boyfriend Rob is fully aware of, and I don't know what I would do without him. Fletcher has loads and loads of personality (just ask Patty Crichton) and makes me laugh every day. Just look at those ears! I also have two cats from LTBHS, Percy and Buddy, and plan on adding to our LTBHS family soon. Yes, my house is a zoo, but I woudn't have it any other way.

Thank you, everyone at LTBHS, for doing what you do for our best friends.

Trekker

LTBHS Adoption Testimonial TrekkerWe adopted Trekker on May 21, 2010 when she was just 8 weeks old. Trekker rode in Eric's backpack for the Grateful Dog Walk at Nub's Nob the very next day to help raise money for LTBHS. We took advantage of the Ruff-to-Ready training scholarship for adopted dogs and our puppy learned so much in the first hour!

Trekker has completely changed our life (for the better). She is such a sweet sociable dog, loves every person and dog she meets, and she has us wrapped around all four paws.

Horton

Horton is wonderful and loves me as I love him!! I'm so glad we found each other at your fabulous "place for animals".

Thank you, LTBHS!

Just wanted to tell you all what a great job you do. Jodi and I have 5 pets between us and they all came from you! They are all doing well. Thank you!

Dillan

linda-davies-dillanThank you so much for putting Dillan in my path that day. I can't imagine what I would do without him. He is my world. When people tell me how nice it was of me to rescue Dilly, I tell them it was nice of him to rescue me.

I wish more people would give these rescue dogs a chance, all they need is love.
