Oversees all shelter operations, fundraising, grant writing and budgeting. Past experience includes professional grooming, kennel and grooming business management. Mother to  sweet Peggy O, her bulldog and shelter employee. Deter has been with LTBHS for more than 18 years.

Dr ADr. Deborah Andreen, DVM 
Dr. Andreen has over 20 years’ experience in veterinary medicine with a focus in diagnostic and surgical procedures.  She resides in Harbor Springs with her husband, three children, cats Guinness, Clementine and Cookie, and dog, Briar.

Dr. Applegate has 40-plus years' experience in veterinary medicine with a focus in dentistry, surgery and general animal medicine.  She lives in Charlevoix with her husband, and rescue dog, Jade.  She and her husband have three grown children and two grandchildren.

Fulfills the ANGEL (Animals Need to Give Everybody Love) grant by taking LTBHS animals to senior care facilities for the purpose of offering elders the chance to interact with animals. Jane has both veterinary technician and elder care experience and has been with LTBHS for more than 16 years.

Claire is responsible for the daily care of shelter animals, training and walking dogs, helping with adoptions and greeting visitors. Claire has two dogs of her own, Osa and Gallatin, in addition to two cats, Gitche Gumee and Bonneville.

Caity is responsible for the daily care of shelter animals, training and walking dogs, helping with adoptions and greeting visitors. Caity recently moved back to Petoskey and shares her home with cats, Puddy and Kitten.

Responsible for building the membership base, cultivating relationships with donors and businesses, amplifying public relations, coordinating and facilitating all events and building the volunteer program.  Teresa has been with the organization for more than seven years. She dotes on her own dog, Buddy, when not at the shelter.

Julie has over 17 years’ experience working as a veterinary technician.  She is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the clinic including surgery, x-ray, laboratory and ultrasound procedures in addition to general patient care.  Julie has two dogs of her own, Otto and Sid, and one cat, Zora. She has been with LTBHS for over 15 years.

Responsible for grant writing and shelter communications including press releases, feature stories, LTBHS newsletter, social media and website. Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and increasing awareness of LTBHS by facilitating positive public relations and creating collateral materials. When not at LTBHS, Jessica enjoys spending time with her own pets, dogs Newtin and Layla, and cats Binx and Bonnie.

Responsible for the daily care of shelter animals, training and walking dogs, helping with adoptions and greeting visitors.  Jamie also works to coordinate and implement shelter transports and animal intakes. Jamie also enjoys spending time with her cats, Leena, Winter and Greta.

Sonya is likely the first face to greet LTBHS visitors at the front desk and always does so with a friendly smile. She is responsible for helping care for shelter animals, assiting with  adoptions and maintaining excellent customer care.  Sonya stays busy at home keeping up with her three dogs, Norman, Porter and Teagan (formerly Sugar, adopted from LTBHS).

Responsible for the daily care of shelter animals, supervising kennel staff, training and walking dogs, helping with adoptions and greeting visitors. Elizabeth has been with LTBHS for more than 10 years. When not at LTBHS, Elizabeth spends time with her dogs, Chaz and Bobby.

Chelsea is responsible for managing all of the organization's accounts and finances, in addition to facilitating donor relations.  She is responsible for managing human resources and maintaining employee relations.  Chelsea has two dogs of her own, both rescues, Duke and Waylon.

Grooms LTBHS animals for cleanliness and to restore their coats to a healthy state. Provides professional grooming to the public. Patty has been with LTBHS for more than 14 years and is the former shelter kennel manager. She has three rescued dogs from LTBHS and enjoys taking care of and riding her two horses.

Beverly helps to maintain the shelter's accounts and finances, in addition to providing IT support for the entire organization.  She has been with the organization for over 10 years.  When not at the clinic, Beverly enjoys spending time training her own dogs, Captain and Taz. 

Jen Juilleret, Veterinary Technician/Client Services Manager (VA/CSA)Jen
Jen is responsible for assisting in all aspects of Little Traverse Bay Veterinary Clinic, including surgery, x-ray, laboratory and ultrasound procedures in addition to general patient care.   She also performs dental cleanings.  Jen has over 19 years of experience as a veterinary technician and enjoys spending time with her own dog, Carl, and cat, Punkin, when she’s not at the clinic.

Kaylyn grooms LTBHS animals for cleanliness and to restore their coats to a healthy state. Provides professional grooming to the public. When Kaylyn is not busy caring for the animals at LTBHS, she enjoys spending time with her five dogs, four rabbits, three cats, two turkeys, one ferret and numerous chickens and goats.

Allyssa is responsible for managing the organization's donor database in addition to helping facilitate mailings, amplify donor relations and assist with events. She loves spending time with her own dogs, Annie, Wrelf and Benny and cats, Charlie and Max.

Kelly is responsible for the daily care of boarding and grooming animals, in addition to greeting visitors/clients and keeping the facility clean. When she's not at work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her own cat, Peekaboo.
Noelle Mallory, Veterinary Clinic/Shelter Animal Care Attendant
Noelle
Noelle splits her time between the shelter and veterinary clinic.  She is responsible for the daily care of shelter animals, helping with adoptions and greeting visitors. At the clinic, she helps in caring for patients, including those recovering from surgery and also makes sure the clinic is kept clean and orderly. Noelle has a French Bulldog at home named Vincent.

Chelsea is responsible for the daily care of boarding and grooming animals, in addition to greeting visitors/clients and keeping the facility clean. Chelsea has one dog of her own, Rio, and also has many farm animals that she cares for at home.

Laura is responsible for assisting in laboratory procedures, radiographs, surgery, dental cleanings/exams and general patient care.  At home Laura adores her two “big-boned” cats, Berry Bear and Mango.

Lisa is responsible for the everyday business activities of the practice. She is also responsible for managing the clinic’s front office which includes greeting and checking in/out clients, in addition to managing appointments and various other duties. When not at the clinic, Lisa enjoys cuddling with her own dogs, Mama Mia and Tank.

Allison is responsible for assisting in laboratory procedures, radiographs, surgery, dental cleanings/exams and general patient care.  Allison enjoys spending time with her own two dogs at home, Teenie and Fuzz. 

Dr. Katie Zubricky, DVMKatie Zubricky
Dr. Zubricky has special interests in soft tissue surgery, oral health treatments, internal medicine and client education.  Dr. Zubricky is a graduate of Colorado State University and is currently in the process of moving to Harbor Springs with her fiancé, Mike, their two dogs and cat.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, reading and crafting.
